Here it is the second week of curling. They started us out once again with another half of the time with a semi-lengthy lesson, really leaving us only an hour to play our game against team “Stone Cold”. We did win the game however, the score ended up being 3-2, close game.
Holy cow, that new broom is LIGHT. I will admit I am no seasoned curler, so my opinion here could be slightly off, but when I was sweeping tonight the broom was so light that when I swept it was all over the place. So I fixed the head of the broom so it wouldn’t swivel all over the place, and then started to put an entire body weight on it. That did the trick.

So my broom came in today, and I cannot wait to test it out at the next curling week. I ordered a nice Olson Reactor2 carbon fiber broom from hugecurlingsavings.com. The whole thing weighs just a little over what my cell phone does. Which while it does not say much about my Droid, it does say how light this broom is.
